Art only truly becomes meaningful when we interact with it.
Lux Art Institute is excited to present out Art Exploration program! This program offers you the opportunity to engage with the art of our current Artist-in-Residence like never before. These small groups offer the opportunity to examine, reflect, and learn more about our current exhibition from the comfort of your own home. Presented to you virtually you will dive deep into one of the works of art alongside other local art lovers and guided by one of Lux's Liaison docents.
Art Exploration is a free program, but please reserve your space ahead of time.

Each date will examine a different work from the current resident exhibition 
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3 AT 12PM
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20 AT 11AM
MONDAY, MARCH 22 AT 4PM
Each date will examine a different work from the current Regional Artist, Iana Quesnell.

Art Exploration Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any requirements to participate in this program?
The only requirements for participation is access to a computer, desktop, or tablet that has camera and microphone capabilities. This program will be presented virtually through Zoom!
How will I be able to join the virtual gathering after I register?
Once you complete your registration to reserve your free spot in one of our Art Explorations you will receive an email with the Zoom link where you can join the discussion.
Do I need to see the exhibition before participating?
No, you do not need to visit Lux and view the current exhibition ahead of time. If you would like to visit, however, reserve your free ticket HERE! Lux is currently open to the public Thursday through Saturday from 2-5pm.
Who are the Liaisons that will be leading this program?
Our Liaisons are our esteemed volunteer corps at Lux. They have devoted countless hours to studying and understanding our current artists and their work in order to be able to provide every visitor an enhanced experience. As the leaders of our Art Exploration program they are eager to delve into individual works by our artists and guide you as you are able to personally connect and understand the work.
